Inoue is another Japanese Shooto staple. Unlike other Shooto fighters, Inoue has fought exclusively for the Japanese promotion never fighting in another show. Inoue uses his kickboxing skills with his reach advantage to pick apart his opponents with punches and his brutal leg kicks. In 2007 he defeated Katsuya Toida to become the Pacific Rim 143 pound champion. He then defeated Hideki Kadowaki to become the Shooto 143 pound champion.
